Terms of Use
Terms for using What’s Next Qatar
Operator information required before publication
Effective date pending operator confirmation
Operator identity and contact information must be confirmed before these terms are published as final.
1. The service
What’s Next Qatar is an information and discovery service. In this release, it does not operate venues, sell or supply alcohol, process consumer payments, or act as a licensing, safety or regulatory authority. It does not provide legal, safety or professional advice.
2. Venue information
Listings may include information from venues, public sources and editorial research. Opening hours, entry requirements, licensing status, prices, menus, availability and offer conditions can change. Check important information directly with the venue. A Venue confirmed badge records a representative update; it is not a guarantee. Any offer is agreed between the venue and user, not What’s Next.
3. Offers and third-party services
Offers and third-party services may change or end without notice. Unless expressly stated, What’s Next is not the seller, venue or third-party offer provider and does not control their availability or terms.
4. Ratings and editorial selections
The What’s Next Rating is calculated from five equally weighted numerical categories and appears publicly only after five valid ratings. Public scores are rounded to the nearest half-star; raw category values remain unrounded internally. We do not collect written public reviews in this rating flow. Google Rating is retrieved separately through Google Places for a human-verified Place ID, is identified as Google Maps content, and is never combined with the What’s Next Rating. Google Maps Platform terms and Google’s Privacy Policy apply to that external content.
5. Age-restricted venues and content
Age and ID requirements vary by venue and event. Check the venue’s current entry requirements before visiting and follow Qatar law and venue rules. What’s Next does not sell or supply alcohol, and information on the site does not override applicable requirements.
6. Featured and Promoted placement
Featured means an independent What’s Next editorial selection where no payment, barter or material compensation determined placement. Promoted means payment, barter or other material compensation influenced placement. Neither label is a quality, safety or compliance guarantee.
7. Claims, corrections and submissions
If you submit a venue claim, correction, offer, photo or other material, you must have authority to provide it and must give accurate information. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, unlawful, infringing or misleading material. You grant us a non-exclusive right to use the submission only as needed to review, operate and update the service. We may reject, remove or suspend a submission or claim. Venue confirmed is not an independent regulatory endorsement.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, scrape or republish protected content without authority, impersonate another person or venue, submit unlawful or misleading material, or infringe another person’s rights.
9. Content and source rights
What’s Next content and branding remain protected. Third-party names, maps, data, images and links remain subject to their respective rights and licences. OpenStreetMap attribution is shown where its data is used.
10. External services and links
Third-party websites, apps, venues and services set their own terms, availability and privacy practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
11. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service useful and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every item is current. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
We may change or discontinue features and update these terms. Material changes apply from the published effective date with appropriate notice. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Qatar, without limiting any mandatory rights that apply. Questions may be sent through the contact page.
